My name is Ana Drake and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois. I have been providing therapy in treatment of anxiety, depression, anger/stress management, body image issues, coping skills, self-esteem, cultural adaptation, etc.

I completed my master's degree in mental health counseling at the University of Illinois-Springfield in 2017 and I was previously a licensed practicing therapist in Brazil before moving to the United States in 2008.

My approach to therapy

I work with the clients to navigate their difficulties through evidence-based approaches like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, person-centered therapy, solution focus etc.
