Great to meet you!

Welcome to my page! I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, identity questions, and relationship challenges. I especially enjoy working with women and young adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves. I grew up in Los Angeles with Salvadoran roots, so I understand the importance of identity, culture, and community in healing. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, and I welcome clients from all backgrounds—including those who feel therapy hasn’t always been culturally aligned or understood.

My style is flexible and client-led. Some days you may need tools and structure; other days you might just need someone to sit with you in the moment. I’m here to meet you where you are—not where you think you “should” be.

My approach to therapy

I use a blend of therapeutic approaches depending on your needs:

  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy): helps you understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors connect—and teaches new ways to cope and respond.
  • Art Therapy: useful when words don’t come easily. Creativity can open emotional insight and allow expression in a safe, meaningful way.
  • Psychoeducational Family Therapy: helps you and loved ones learn about patterns, communication, boundaries, and how to support one another.

For clients who are open to it, I may also incorporate spirituality as a grounding tool—whether that’s mindfulness, meaning-making, or reconnecting with something larger than the stress you’re carrying. My goal is to help you learn practical skills you can take into everyday life. Homework and tools can be part of the process—but only when they feel helpful, not overwhelming.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is simply a conversation. I’ll ask what brings you here, what you’re hoping will feel different, and what support looks like for you. There’s no pressure to tell your whole story right away—you set the pace. You’ll have space to ask questions, express concerns, and get a sense of whether this feels like the right fit.

A little about me: I’m a big animal lover—all my pets are rescues. I have two dogs and a cherry-face bird who keep life interesting and joyful. Outside of work, spirituality, nature, and animals give me grounding and balance.

If you're ready to start exploring your healing story—or even just curious about the process—I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

My hope is that you leave our first session feeling heard, supported, grounded, and not alone in what you’re carrying.
