Great to meet you!

I’m a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families. My clinical background includes trauma focused care in community and outpatient settings, with experience in both the United States and Latin America. I have supported clients navigating child abuse and neglect, violence, complex family stressors, emotional distress, major life transitions, and experiences related to immigration and cultural identity.

I earned my Master of Social Work from Boston College, where I completed a Clinical Concentration, Global Field of Practice, and the Latinx Leadership Initiative. I also hold a bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Chicago. I bring a culturally responsive and compassionate perspective to therapy, with the goal of helping clients feel understood while building greater insight, resilience, and connection to themselves and others.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma informed, collaborative, and grounded in cultural humility. I believe therapy should make space for the full context of a person’s life, including relationships, family, culture, environment, and the experiences that have shaped how they see themselves and the world.

I draw from Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, TF CBT, Risk Reduction through Family Therapy, RRFT, Motivational Interviewing, Compassionate Inquiry, and Internal Family Systems informed concepts. I adapt my work to each client rather than expecting every person to fit into one model. My goal is to help clients understand patterns, develop practical coping tools, process difficult experiences at a manageable pace, and strengthen the parts of themselves that already know how to survive and grow.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what is bringing you to therapy. We may talk about what has been feeling difficult, important relationships and experiences in your life, what has or has not helped in the past, and what you would like to be different moving forward.

I aim to create an environment that feels warm, respectful, collaborative, and free of judgment. You do not need to arrive with everything figured out or share more than you are ready to. We will begin identifying your goals together and move at a pace that feels appropriate for you, while building a foundation of trust and safety for the work ahead.
