I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in California. I have over 15 years of experience working in outpatient and school-based mental health settings. I provide services that help young people, adults and families see how their feelings, thoughts, choices, and actions affect each other in order to improve their quality of life.
My approach to providing therapy is client-centered, strength-based, and culturally responsive. The most common theoretical approaches I use include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Systems Theory, and Mindfulness approaches.
I love helping my clients gain a better understanding of their mental health and develop wellness goals. My clients are sometimes unsure of what triggers lead to unhealthy behaviors and are eager to work on gaining a better understanding of them in order to manage their feelings better. Having worked with clients over the years, I have developed a trusting, therapeutic, and problem-solving approach to the specific challenges my clients are facing.
