Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Ana Kellermann Jimenez and I am a licensed psychologist in Texas. I obtained a Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the University of Texas at Tyler. I specialize in health psychology and have experience treating disorders like depression, anxiety, or trauma, as well as helping clients with difficulties related to health, family, and identity challenges.

My approach to therapy

I think therapy is a collaborative process, where a client is the expert on themselves and their lives and I am there to help clients extend their toolkit to face any challenges that life throws their way. I mostly rely on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy but have received trainings in other modalities such as ACT, motivational interviewing, or CPT that we can use, if necessary, of if desired.

What you can expect from me

The first session is all about getting to know you and what brings you into therapy. It is also a great opportunity for you to get to know me and see if I am a good fit for you. I also try to incorporate at least one new skill or tool into the first session so that we can get started working towards your goals.
