Great to meet you!

With advanced clinical training in both systemic family therapy and addictions counseling, I focus on how your relationships, environment, and past traumas intersect with the ways you cope with pain. This means we don't just look at surface behaviors, we address the root causes of what is hurting you. Over the course of my career in community mental health, schools, and private practice, I have specialized in treating complex trauma (including PTSD, religious, medical, and financial trauma), addiction, ADHD, severe anxiety, and depression. I do my best work supporting highly driven executives, entrepreneurs, military families, and young adults who are ready to break painful patterns. My practice is informed not just by evidence-based research, but by my own lived experiences of joy and hardship, allowing me to offer a truly compassionate, nonjudgmental space. Ultimately, my goal is to ensure you feel genuinely seen and understood as we work together to build the life you want.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded, highly collaborative, and backed by scientific research. Because I specialize in helping people get "unstuck" from repeating patterns and unhelpful coping mechanisms, I am heavily trained in advanced, trauma-informed modalities, including EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Play Therapy and the Gottman Method for couples. We won't just talk in circles; instead, we will actively explore the biological, psychological, and social factors affecting you. Together, we will develop a personalized, evidence-based toolkit to help you navigate trauma, manage addiction and unhelpful responses, build and maintain healthy boundaries for you and for others, and ultimately heal the underlying thoughts and emotions causing you pain.

What you can expect from me

Good therapy requires a safe, collaborative space, so our first session is all about establishing that comfort and looking at the whole picture of what brought you in. We will discuss your history, identify your specific goals, and start mapping out a plan to get you there. While healing happens on its own timeline, clients who are ready to put in the work often see meaningful improvement within their first month and sustainable progress within 12 weeks. You can expect to leave our first session with a clear understanding of our path forward and a sense of hope that change is possible.
