Great to meet you!

Being first-gen Latino/a means speaking one language at home and another outside, being there for family while trying to figure out who you are. It’s a lot to carry, and not always easy to explain. My goal is to create a space where Black and Brown individuals can show up fully, without code-switching or over-explaining. A place to heal, reflect, and grow. While my focus is on serving communities of color, I also work with white clients who are mindful of this focus—those who are doing their own work and open to learning. My goal is always to build a relationship grounded in respect, authenticity, and mutual growth.

My approach to therapy

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy , Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Focused models and Strengths Based approaches. My experience is in providing trauma informed mental health services to the immigrant and refugee communities. I also specialize in supporting clients as they navigate medical related stressors.

What you can expect from me

We all crave connection, but really it’s connecting with someone who “gets us.” I won’t be a good fit for everyone but we might a good fit for each other. I offer free 15 minute consultations to give us an opportunity to explore that possibility so if you’re at all curious please don’t hesitate to give me a call or send me an email. I can’t wait to meet you!
