Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California and bilingual in Spanish. I have over a decade of clinical experience working with families and adolescents, and my full-time work in post-acute residential care for teenagers runs alongside my private practice. That combination gives me a grounded sense of what people are carrying beyond what shows up in a session.

I am certified in complex trauma and work with trauma, depression, anxiety, mood concerns, and substance use. I see clients from childhood through adulthood via Telehealth.

My approach to therapy

My approach is whole-person and non-judgmental. I draw on CBT and trauma-focused frameworks, including DBT skills, and adapt based on what each person is actually working on. I try to meet clients where they are rather than where I expect them to be, and I bring that same attention to clients of all ages and backgrounds.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a conversation. I take the time to understand where you are and what has been getting in the way before we talk about anything else. I listen and I try to get a full picture. Reach out when you are ready.
