Great to meet you!

I'm Ana — a bilingual LCSW who's spent the last six years working at the intersection of trauma, addiction, and mental health. I trained in South Florida and have worked in treatment centers in both Florida and Colorado, which means I've sat with people in some of their hardest moments and helped them find their way through. I work with adults and teens, in English and Spanish, and I bring a direct, warm, no-nonsense approach to every session. I'm not here to give you a script or tell you what you "should" feel — I'm here to help you actually figure things out.

My approach to therapy

I pull from several evidence-based methods — EMDR, CBT, DBT, and psychodrama — and I tailor how I use them based on what you're actually dealing with. EMDR is especially powerful for clients carrying trauma that hasn't shifted with talk therapy alone. DBT gives us concrete tools for managing intense emotions and changing destructive patterns. Psychodrama lets us work through situations by exploring them in a more active, experiential way — which some clients find more powerful than just talking about them. I'm trained to adapt my approach to you, not the other way around. You'll always know what we're doing and why.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting to know each other. I'll ask about what's bringing you in, what's been happening in your life, and what you're hoping to feel or do differently. I'll share a bit about how I work. You get to ask me questions too — this is a two-way conversation, not an intake form. By the end, we'll have a clear sense of whether this feels right. There's no pressure to commit to anything before you're ready. If you speak Spanish and feel more comfortable in Spanish, we can work that way entirely or switch between languages — whatever helps you feel most like yourself.
