Ana began her clinical work at the CLU Community Counseling Services Center and later provided community-based counseling and psychoeducation through Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy at Lakeside Family Counseling and Intervention Services in Ventura, CA. She is also certified in the Trauma Resource Model, Level I.

In addition to her clinical background, Ana worked at California State University Channel Islands from 2015–2020 within Wellness, Athletics, and Wellness Promotion and Education, supporting students, faculty, staff, and the broader Ventura County community. She later returned to CSUCI Counseling and Psychological Services as a clinician, counseling students and collaborating with CAPS clinicians through 2022. Ana also served as the CSU Channel Islands Confidential Campus Advocate in partnership with Coalition for Family Harmony Rape Crisis Center.

Ana is a compassionate, resilience-focused therapist dedicated to creating a warm, supportive, and safe environment where clients feel comfortable being open and vulnerable. She believes therapy is a collaborative process and works alongside clients to help them gain insight, build confidence, and create meaningful change in their lives.

My approach to therapy

I am a resilience-focused therapist who safely assists, motivates, and supports individuals through their personal journeys. I have served in many roles with community, school and private clinical settings, including advocating for individuals within a non-profit organization in Ventura County, Coalition for Family Harmony Rape Crisis Center. My goal is to assist individuals through their healing journey to rediscovery, transcend and to flourish in their lives.

What you can expect from me

We begin each new session with introductions where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. We’ll work together to figure each step out! I strive to create a warm, compassionate, and welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling secure. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.
