Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a background in nursing, psychology, and healthcare leadership, and extensive experience helping people navigate personal, professional, and emotional challenges. I’m particularly passionate about working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and those who may simply feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unlike themselves. I’m naturally empathetic and genuinely curious about people, and I place great value on building a trusting, authentic connection where you feel comfortable being yourself. You won’t be reduced to a diagnosis or a list of symptoms—I want to understand your story, what has shaped you, and what matters to you so that together we can find a path toward feeling better and living more fully.

My approach to therapy

I believe the best care begins with understanding you as a whole person—not just the symptoms you’re experiencing. My approach is warm, collaborative, and evidence-based, combining thoughtful medication management when appropriate with non-medication strategies and therapeutic approaches tailored to your individual needs. I value understanding the “why” behind what you’re feeling and helping you develop greater insight, practical coping skills, and strategies that can create meaningful change beyond symptom relief. Most importantly, I respect your autonomy and want you to feel informed, comfortable, and actively involved in every decision we make about your care.

What you can expect from me

Our first visit is about more than gathering a history—it’s the beginning of getting to know you and building a relationship where you feel safe being yourself. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what you’ve been experiencing, your history, relationships, strengths, and what you would like to change, while moving at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Together, we’ll begin making sense of what may be contributing to your challenges and discuss options for moving forward, including both therapeutic strategies and medication when appropriate. My hope is that you leave feeling genuinely heard and understood, with a clearer sense of where we can go from here and confidence that you have a partner in the process.
