Ana Vivar

My name is Ana Vivar and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have over 11 years of experience working with families and children who have experienced trauma, neglect, emotional abuse, domestic violence, sexual abuse, foster care as well as drug-endangered children. My practice is guided by attachment theory, as I believe that emotional connection is a fundamental human need.

My approach is rooted in client-centered therapy, which emphasizes creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. I integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients explore and strengthen their emotional connections, fostering deeper understanding, healing, and growth in their relationships with themselves and others. I also utilize (CBT) techniques and Solution Focused Therapy as needed, tailoring my approach to each client's unique goals and needs.

I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental, and supportive environment where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. My communication style fosters trust, openness, and collaboration, empowering clients to navigate challenges and work toward their desired treatment goals.
