Great to meet you!

I seek to provide culturally affirming, holistic care that integrates the mind, body, and spirit. As a multicultural, neurodivergent psychiatrist and daughter of immigrants raised in Chicago, I bring both clinical training and lived experience to our work together. My own journey through burnout and the process of learning to slow down and listen to what my body needed has also shaped the care I provide. It has grounded me in genuine curiosity, humility, and a deep respect for the wisdom you already carry.

My approach to therapy

I am skilled in accompanying you through difficult life transitions, burnout, healing from trauma, and navigating relationship challenges. Each treatment approach is customized to fit your unique needs, and our work is collaborative by design. I take an integrative approach, drawing on various modalities to help you explore the deeper patterns shaping your life while building practical tools for lasting change. In addition to medication when indicated, modalities I draw from include relational therapy, somatic therapy, and internal family systems (IFS), as well as lifestyle shifts that support your healing from the inside out. I also believe that healing takes time, which is why I offer longer appointments. My goal is to get to know you as a whole person, not just the concern that brings you through the door.

What you can expect from me

My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in both insight and the body's role in emotional experience. I see spending time getting to know you as an act of care. In our first couple of sessions, I will take time to learn your history and what has brought you to this moment. I believe that whole person care is rooted in deep understanding. For that reason, I may recommend an additional intake session before we develop a treatment plan together.
