Great to meet you!

My 17 years as a medical social worker have taught me that the most effective therapy happens in an environment of TRUST and SAFETY. I am committed to building that with every client. Because I actively engage in my own personal growth and have been a client in therapy myself, I understand the process from both sides. You can expect a collaborative partnership where your well-being is the top priority.

My approach to therapy

  • My Philosophy: I believe therapy should be a SAFE, caring space where you can exhale, feel SEEN, and no longer carry everything alone. It can be a place to set down the pain, burdens, and struggles you’ve been holding for so long, so healing, clarity, and HOPE can begin.
  • My Goal for You: My goal is to help you MOVE through anxiety, self-doubt, and painful life experiences with greater understanding and compassion for yourself. I want to help you EXPERIENCE more peace, emotional freedom, confidence, and a deeper sense of stability within yourself.
  • My Style: I approach therapy with warmth, compassion, and genuine care. I strive to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported. Our work together will be centered on your unique story, strengths, and goals as we work toward meaningful healing and lasting change.

Areas of Focus: I specialize in working with anxiety and also frequently support clients navigating:

  • Life Transitions & Career Changes
  • Parenting Challenges
  • Building Self-Confidence & Self-Worth

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it's completely normal to feel a little nervous. My hope is that by the end of our first session, you'll feel heard, understood, and encouraged that you don't have to navigate this alone.

Our first session is really a conversation. I'll want to get to know you, hear what has been happening in your life, and understand what led you to reach out for support. We'll talk about the challenges you're facing, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping will be different moving forward.

There are no right or wrong answers, and you don't have to share everything all at once. We'll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. You're also welcome to ask me questions so you can get a sense of who I am and whether I feel like a good fit for you.

Before we finish, we'll talk about what I think may be most helpful and begin creating a plan together. My goal is for you to leave with a little more hope, a clearer sense of direction, and the confidence that we have a path forward.
