Anabel is a board-certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, trained to treat behavioral and mental health across the lifespan. She graduated with her Masters in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin.
Anabel’s past experiences have equipped her to work well with diverse populations, be culturally competent, and have a wide array of training across specialties.
Anabel strives to work in a collaborative approach with her patients in order to help support their treatment goals through evidence-based practice.
Anabel specializes in the areas of addiction, abuse, trauma, as well as general mental and behavioral health.Prior to becoming an advanced practice nurse, Anabel worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor, as well as a registered nurse in various areas, including addiction, severe mental health, and labor and delivery.
Upon meeting with Anabel, clients can expect to collaborate on an individualized plan based in holistic care. Anabel believes that her clients are fully capable of navigating the next right thing and she is there to help each person feel equipped to do so.
