Your first session is a space for us to slow down, connect, and begin understanding what brings you to therapy—at your pace.
I focus on creating a warm, grounded, and non-judgmental environment where you can feel safe to share openly. Rather than rushing into solutions, we begin by exploring your current challenges, your history, and the patterns that may be shaping your experiences—especially in relationships.
You can expect thoughtful, attuned questions that help clarify what you’re going through and what you’re truly needing. Many clients leave the first session already feeling a sense of relief, insight, or being deeply understood.
We will also begin identifying your goals—whether that’s reducing anxiety, improving relationships, processing grief, or creating more balance and fulfillment in your life. Together, we’ll outline a direction for our work that feels aligned, intentional, and realistic.
If you’re coming in as a couple, I create a structured yet supportive space where both partners feel heard, while also helping you understand the dynamics between you and how to shift them.
My goal in the first session is not just to gather information, but to help you feel that you’re in the right place—with someone who truly sees you and can guide you toward meaningful, lasting change.
