Great to meet you!

Some of what you are carrying does not translate easily, and the weight of it can be hard to explain to people who have not lived something similar. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and the particular stress that comes with cultural identity, family dynamics, and major life transitions. I am fluent in English and Haitian Creole, and I welcome clients from all backgrounds. Whatever you are sorting through, my goal is for you to feel respected, understood, and never judged.

My approach to therapy

Our work together is collaborative and moves at a pace that feels manageable for you. We will slow things down, look honestly at what has been building beneath the surface, and find strategies that help you feel more grounded, hopeful, and equipped to handle what comes next. Whether we are working through the aftermath of trauma, anxiety that has become a constant backdrop, or the kind of cultural and relational stress that builds quietly over time, our sessions are designed to be both supportive and practical. If faith or spirituality is part of your life, I am experienced in weaving that into our work when it feels meaningful to you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know each other and building safety and trust at your pace. We will talk about what brings you here now, what you would like to feel or do differently, and what kind of support would be most useful going forward. You will leave with a clear sense of what our work together could look like and some realistic next steps. If you are ready to stop carrying this alone, I would love to hear from you.
