Andi received a MA in Social Work and a BA in Psychology (minor in Human Development/Family Relations) from the University of Maine, Orono. In the profession for 17+ years, about 7 years of that, she was an Intensive Services Program Manager at a Virginia Community Services Board. Andi sat as a mental health expert for 9 years on the Family Assessment and Planning Team. After relocating, she started working with military service members and their families while building her private practice.

My approach to therapy

Andi has been trained in many modalities including, but not limited to, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Strength-Based Therapy, Trauma Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Applied Behavioral Analysis, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strategic Therapy and Family Systems Therapy.
