Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and training psychoanalyst who works with adults navigating burnout, anxiety, and feelings of hopelessness. I take a psychodynamic, interpersonal approach, which means our work centers on the real, human connection between us and how it can support your healing. I have formal training in psychoanalysis and well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, however I mainly rely on a psychoanalytic approach. In addition, my office is conveniently located in Union Square-Manhattan.

My approach to therapy

I take a psychodynamic, relational approach to therapy. I believe we’re all shaped by the many experiences, relationships, and challenges we’ve carried throughout our lives, and these influences show up in how we cope with stress today. In our work together, you’ll have a space to talk openly about whatever is troubling you most right now, while we also begin to understand the deeper patterns and emotions underneath. My aim is to create a thoughtful, supportive relationship where you can explore your inner world and feel genuinely understood.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a calm, open conversation about what’s bringing you into therapy. I’ll invite you to share your current concerns, how you’ve been feeling, and anything that feels important for me to understand. We’ll also pay gentle attention to what it’s like for you to talk with me—your reactions, your comfort level, and the emotional tone of the room.

I won’t rush you or ask for a full life story all at once; instead, we’ll move at a pace that feels manageable. The first session is about beginning to build a genuine connection, getting a sense of your inner world, and creating a space where you can start to feel understood and supported.
