Great to meet you!

Hi, congrats on seeking therapy, you are courageous! I specialize in trauma and grief from living in capitalism/oppressive systems, anxiety, depression, Complex PTSD, and navigating anger. I love supporting people that are BIPOC, LGBTQ, neurodivergent, disabled, fat/larger bodied, and/or from other marginalized communities. I'm passionate about supporting transformational cycle-breakers, revolutionaries, and anyone actively dismantling oppressive systems in their minds, relationships, and lives!

My approach to therapy

My ancestors are Irish, Spanish, and Tarahumara and the communal/familial cultures I was raised in have taught me a lot about power dynamics and collective liberation. I use a client-centered, anti-oppressive, Liberation Psychology approach to support clients in identifying how intergenerational trauma, past experiences, and current circumstances shape their worldviews. I love to incorporate clients' religious, spiritual, agnostic, and/or atheist practices in sessions when appropriate.

What you can expect from me

I create a healing container where clients can access the deep wisdom and knowledge they carry so that we can co-create treatment goals and the steps to move toward them. I offer a soft place to land where clients can engage in radical imagining regarding how to bring their dreams to fruition. I support clients in identifying ancestral/ communal/familial individual strengths and how they can play a role in cultivating empowerment, creativity, connection, meaning, belonging, and love!
