Great to meet you!

I've worked in the mental health field for over ten years. In that time I've worked with various populations which include but aren't limited to low-income, various races & ethnicities, and religions, the LGBTQ community, individuals with chronic diseases, veterans, homeless, all from ages 15 and up. I've learned that everyone brings their own unique experience to counseling that may include multiple factors impacting their ability to thrive and that they aren't alone in that journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach includes assisting with the ability in identify the initial concerns, to increase awareness of the psychosocial factors and cognitions that contribute to the concerns, establishing measurable goals, providing education as needed, and building a healthy therapeutic relationship that creates the foundation for positive changes.

What you can expect from me

I want every client to feel safe, heard, and that they are working in collaboration to achieve any amount of progress big or small that enhances their everyday life. I also want clients to feel as though they can provide feedback to make adjustments throughout the therapeutic process as their needs change.
