Great to meet you!

My name is Andra, and I work with people who feel stuck inside anxiety, depression, trauma, or the weight of complicated relationships. I trained at Antioch University and spent years doing community mental health work, which means I've sat with a wide range of human struggle before ever stepping into private practice. I'm also an immigrant, and have worked with first-generation and immigrant clients navigating the particular weight of living between cultures.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm but direct, collaborative, conversational and exploratory. I work from a psychodynamic and existential framework, using EMDR and Interpersonal Psychotherapy to meet you where you are at, whether that's deep-rooted patterns, trauma, or what's happening in your relationships right now. Therapy is demanding work, so I make it a point to check in regularly and make sure you're actually getting what you need from this process.

What you can expect from me

It's important to me that you start getting what you came for right away. In our first session, I'll encourage you to lead with what's bothering you most. From there we'll take stock of what's been working and what hasn't, what you want out of therapy, and any questions you have about how I work or therapy in general. My goal is that you leave feeling heard and with a clearer sense of what we're building toward together. If you would like to schedule a free 15 minute consultation call, please message me directly for times/availability.
