Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who believes therapy should feel real, human, and grounded in honest conversation. With experience in community mental health, treatment courts, group work, and clinical supervision, in addition to working with individuals navigating trauma, identity, and personal change. I also teach and mentor future counselors while researching the psychological experiences of individuals living with vitiligo. I bring a little bit of humor into therapy, because let’s face it, in this day and age a little bit of laughing takes stress off our already hectic lives; though when it is time to get serious, we will address all and any issues that may be hindering your pathways of life. My philosophy: “people are more than their labels, and growth begins when people feel seen, heard, and respected.”

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in authenticity, accountability, and human connection. I believe therapy works best when people feel safe enough to be honest about where they are while also being challenged to grow. I often describe therapy as a road trip where the client is the driver and I am the passenger, helping navigate difficult turns, pauses, and moments of reflection along the way. Rather than rushing toward a destination, therapy becomes a space to slow down, understand past experiences, and decide where to go next. My goal is to support individuals in recognizing their strengths while building insight, resilience, and meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

One of my goals in therapy is to help people slow down and better understand what’s happening beneath the surface of their thoughts, behaviors, and reactions. Together we work on recognizing patterns, building healthier coping strategies, and developing practical tools that make life’s challenges more manageable. Therapy is not about having everything figured out overnight, but about gaining insight and confidence to move forward with intention. Over time, many clients find they feel more grounded, self-aware, and better equipped to handle difficult moments.
