Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience supporting people through life’s challenges. I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and grief. My approach is warm, practical, and solution-oriented, and I believe therapy should give you a safe space to feel heard while also helping you develop tools that work in your everyday life. Together, we’ll focus on understanding what’s getting in your way and building on your strengths to create meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, practical, and collaborative. I take time to understand each client’s experiences, strengths, and goals, and then work with them to develop realistic tools they can use in everyday life. I often incorporate cognitive and behavioral strategies, mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques to help clients manage emotions, change unhelpful patterns, and build confidence. I especially enjoy working with clients navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, relationships, grief, and major life changes.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a welcoming, judgment-free space where we’ll get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy. We’ll explore your current concerns, your goals, and what you would like to be different in your life. I’ll also begin getting a sense of what has helped you in the past and what approaches may be most useful for you. By the end of our first session, my goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and hopeful about the work we can do together.
