Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm glad you're here. My goal is to provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and empowered to navigate life's challenges. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and parents, supporting clients through grief, depression, anxiety, life transitions, suicidal ideation, and relationship challenges. I also have specialized experience working with survivors of domestic violence and PTSD, and my background includes conducting developmental assessments for children and providing parent education using a variety of evidence-based parenting approaches. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I am committed to helping you build the tools and confidence to create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and experiences. I believe healing happens at your own pace, so I will meet you where you are and respect your readiness throughout the therapeutic process. I also enjoy incorporating humor and relatable metaphors when appropriate to help make difficult concepts feel more understandable and approachable. Together, we will work toward your goals while building on your strengths and creating meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know each other and laying the foundation for our work together. I'll review important information such as informed consent, confidentiality, mandated reporting, and what you can expect from the therapeutic process. We'll also explore your background, current concerns, and the goals you hope to achieve in therapy so I can better understand how to support you. I'll explain my therapeutic approach, answer any questions you may have, and make sure you feel comfortable moving forward at a pace that feels right for you.
