Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and it’s completely normal to fee a little nervous. My goal is to create a space where you feel welcomed, respected, and comfortable being yourself from the very beginning.
During our first session, we will spend time getting to know one another. I will want to hear about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you’re facing, and strengths that have helped you along the way. Rather than rushing to “fix” problems, we’ll work together to understand your unique experiences and identify what you hoped to gain from therapy.
Together. We will begin developing goals that are meaningful to you. Therapy is collaborative, and we’ll tailor our work to your individual needs and pace.
I strive to create an environment that is warm, compassionate, affirming, and free of judgement. I want you to feel safe asking questions, expressing difficult emotions, and showing up exactly as you are. My hope is that you leave each session feeling heard, supported, and equipped with practical tools that you can begin using in your everyday life.
If you’ve spent years feeling “too much”, “not enough” or like your constantly failing behind, I want you to know that therapy can be a place where those stories begin to change. Together, we will focus on understanding how your mind works, building strengths, and finding strategies that truly fit your life.
