Great to meet you!

Reaching out for therapy isn't always easy. Whether you've been thinking about it for years or just recently realized something needs to change, I'm glad you're here.

I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with over 15 years of experience helping adults work through anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, depression, low self-esteem, and stress. I earned my master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and have worked in a variety of clinical settings before opening my private telehealth practice, where I work with adults throughout New York State.

Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck. They may be overthinking everything, struggling to set boundaries, recovering from unhealthy relationships, or wondering why they keep repeating the same patterns. Others simply know they aren't feeling like themselves anymore and want to find their way back.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I don't believe therapy should feel like you're being analyzed or judged. I see it as a conversation between two people working together to help you better understand yourself and move toward the life you want. I'll meet you with compassion, but I'll also gently challenge you when it helps you grow.

I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, and trauma-informed interventions. Rather than following a script, I tailor therapy to each individual because no two people—or their stories—are the same.

My hope is that when you leave our sessions, you don't just feel heard. I want you to have practical tools, greater self-awareness, and the confidence to handle whatever life brings next. You don't have to have it all figured out before you start. We'll figure it out together.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if it's your first time. My goal is to make your first session feel more like a conversation than an interview.

We'll spend time getting to know each other and talking about what's bringing you to therapy. I'll ask questions about your current concerns, your history, and what you hope to get out of our work together, but there's no pressure to share everything at once. We move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

By the end of our session, we'll begin identifying goals and discussing what therapy might look like moving forward. While meaningful change takes time, many clients leave their first appointment feeling relieved simply to have a plan and a place where they don't have to carry everything alone.
