Great to meet you!

As a British American who grew up in France, I bring a multicultural perspective to my work as a trauma-informed therapist. With a background in theatre and entertainment, I infuse my therapeutic work with creativity and curiosity. I have experience working with adults, adolescents, and families across various settings, including community centers, schools, private practice, and intensive outpatient programs.

My approach to therapy

My work is grounded in a trauma-informed, relational approach that centers your sense of safety, choice, and inner steadiness. In our work together, you can expect therapy to feel:

  • Calm, unhurried, and deeply attentive
  • Gentle without being superficial
  • Thoughtful and emotionally precise
  • Grounded in your lived experience
  • Shaped around your nervous system and emotional rhythms

I listen closely to your inner world and craft our work around what your body, history, and pace are asking for. You should never be rushed, minimized, or asked to “push through.” Your therapy unfolds in a way that honors your depth while supporting meaningful, grounded change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a gentle starting point. We’ll begin with an intake, which means I’ll ask questions about what’s bringing you in, your history, relationships, and any past therapy experiences. This helps me understand the full picture of who you are. Not just the current struggle.

Because it’s our first meeting, it may feel a little different from a typical session. I’ll also cover some of the ins and outs of therapy, things like confidentiality, communication, scheduling, and other housekeeping details, so you feel clear and informed about how we’ll work together.

We’ll move at a pace that feels manageable. You don’t have to tell your whole life story in one hour. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and understood as we begin to identify what you’d like to work toward.

By the end of our first session, we’ll have a clearer sense of your goals, how I can support you, and what our work together might look like moving forward.
