My approach to therapy

I believe in the importance of a “whole person” approach and the biopsychsocial model, that symptoms can be resolved, while addressing the larger whole of what contributes to one’s daily life and functioning. Recovery, healing and growth can happen in many ways for people. Primary modalities I reference would be narrative, person-centered, CBT, DBT and EMDR.

What you can expect from me

It is my heart for people to heal, grow, and recover from whatever suffering they may be encountering. My goal is to offer help, healing, compassion, and hope to those I serve. Part of my approach to counseling includes providing connection, a safe space to be heard, providing resources, problem solving. I do believe in the power of prayer, should you desire that to be part of our time together. It is my goal to get you to the next best place in your life.
