Great to meet you!

I am a dual-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. This means I am trained to treat both physical health and mental health. WIN-WIN! I started off as a combat medic in the Army and after my enlistment went back to school for nursing. I have been in the nursing field for nearly 20 years, a nurse practitioner for six years and working in addiction medicine and mental health, specifically, for over the last two years. This is my PASSION and I feel like I am saving people’s lives while also treating them with kindness and compassion.

My approach to therapy

I am actively accepting new clients, please reach out to schedule an appointment and I can see you within a week usually. If we decide to work together I will work side-by-side with you in a collaborative approach to help you achieve your unique goals. I recognize that if you aren’t part of the decision-making in your care then this could hinder your ability to move forward and heal. I approach my clients with open-mindedness, warmth and an eagerness to learn your unique story. My goal is that you feel comfortable in sharing some of your most intimate experiences and emotions knowing that I will not have any judgement and will only value that you have entrusted me with your most private feelings, experiences and thoughts.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be exploratory as I try to understand your unique story and what your personal goals are. I hope to create an inviting environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing some of your most vulnerable details. Going forward we will continue to work together to help you achieve these goals in a collaborative style.
