Great to meet you!

Writing

Support for where you are. Tools for where you want to go.

I’m Andrea DeLeon, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas and Illinois. For 16 years, I’ve helped children, individuals, and families navigate challenges and find a path forward.

My experience in medical and forensic social work has shaped the way I care for clients facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, family concerns, and life transitions. I’ve also supported people navigating complex medical needs, pregnancy and postpartum experiences, aging, domestic violence, and the needs of children with special health care needs.

I believe effective therapy begins with understanding you. Together, we’ll build on your strengths, explore what’s keeping you stuck, and develop practical tools that fit your life. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your goals.

I hold a Master of Social Work, a Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work. When I’m away from work, I enjoy running, puzzles, community connections, and time with friends.

You don’t have to figure everything out on your own. When you’re ready, I’m here to help you take the next step.

My approach to therapy

My goal is to always start where you are, be open-minded, and help you reach your goal.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll introduce ourselves and talk about what brings you to therapy. We’ll review your intake forms and assessments, discuss your goals, and go over what you can expect from our work together. You’ll have time to ask questions and share at a pace that feels comfortable.
