Great to meet you!

Dr. Andrea Eschrich is a licensed psychologist with over twelve years of experience helping people, especially women, move out of anxiety and into confidence, gaining clarity and control over their lives.

She specializes in working with anxiety in all forms, including PTSD, panic, and generalized anxiety. She treats ADHD, perfectionism, procrastination and OCD symptoms by using proven, neuroscience-backed approaches that create lasting change.

Dr. Eschrich also focuses on empowerment and relationships, helping clients build self-esteem, learn to set boundaries, communicate effectively, and stop people-pleasing so that they can create healthier, more fulfilling connections.

As a working mother, she deeply understands the emotional and mental load that comes with motherhood. She is passionate about supporting maternal wellness by providing a safe space, tools and resources to help them navigate many transitions, pressures and identity shifts that come with raising a family.

Originally from New York and now based in Tampa, Dr. Eschrich offers telehealth services in both states, providing accessible, flexible care designed to meet you where you are.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with Dr. Andrea Eschrich is designed to feel safe, supportive and empowering- not intimidating or overwhelming.

She takes a warm, collaborative approach, where you are always in control of the pace and direction.

Her work combines proven, science-backed methods like CBT, EMDR, exposure therapy, mindfulness and somatic techniques to help you move through anxiety, panic, trauma and OCD in a way that feels manageable and effective.

If you are struggling with relationships or feeling stuck in patterns like people-pleasing or self-doubt, she also integrates approaches like ACT and Interpersonal Therapy to help you build confidence and set healthy boundaries.

It is not uncommon for her to welcome partners to sessions and have excellent outcomes due to her educational and non-threatening style, allowing greater openness and receptivity from partners.

The heart of her approach is helping you:

*Feel truly understood and validated

*Recognize patterns that are keeping you stuck

*Learn practical tools, build skills and create effective systems to create real change that you can see and feel.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is designed to feel welcoming and supportive with a focus to create a space where you feel safe, comfortable and truly heard.

During this time, we'll begin exploring what brings you to therapy, along with the important pieces of your history that help shape your current experiences. There's no pressure to share everything at once-this is simply the starting point.

If you are experiencing significant distress, you will leave our first session with practical tools and strategies to help you begin coping right away.
