Great to meet you!

With more than 20 years of experience, I've had the opportunity to support individuals and families through many different seasons of life. I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, parenting challenges, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, struggling to find balance, or simply ready for something in your life to change, my goal is to provide a space where you feel heard, supported, and understood.

As a mother of four, I also understand firsthand how demanding different stages of parenting and family life can be. My experience has strengthened my passion for supporting parents, women, young adults, and teens as they navigate life's challenges. Together, we'll build on your strengths, improve communication and coping skills, and develop practical strategies that can help you feel more confident and equipped moving forward.

My approach to therapy

I believe everyone has a unique story and deserves an individualized approach to care. Once we decide to work together, we'll act as partners in your therapeutic journey. It's important to me that you feel comfortable being open and that you feel genuinely seen and heard in counseling. I'll be there to listen, support you, and also challenge you when it can help you grow.

I draw from approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and family-based approaches. Depending on your needs, our work may focus on managing anxiety or stress, processing difficult experiences, strengthening relationships, navigating parenting or family challenges, improving communication, or developing healthier ways of coping.

What you can expect from me

I always start with an introductory session where you'll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. You don't need to have everything figured out before we meet. We'll work together to understand what's most important to you and determine the best path forward.

I strive to create a warm, supportive environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable while also feeling validated. From there, we'll turn your goals into practical steps and continue building on your progress throughout our work together. My hope is that you leave therapy with greater confidence, stronger coping skills, and tools you can continue using in everyday life.
