Great to meet you!

It is difficult to reach out and get support - we often feel like we are supposed to do it all on our own and that is not always the case. Life brings us change, physical pain, emotional stress and mental load - but we can grow through all of it! My role is to work collaboratively with you to understand the depth of your concerns, discover new opportunities and support you as your goals turn into valid accomplishments!

My work is driven by my passion for learning, people, and life experiences. I approach our time with compassion, and respect. You are the expert on your own life. My training and experience allow us to combine your personal knowledge with evidence-based methods to help you build stronger, more fulfilling relationships with yourself, activities and others. Together, we focus on gaining new perspectives, developing insight, and fostering self-identity in our constantly changing world.

I hold a Doctorate in Education in Sports and Performance Psychology as well as a masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling allowing me to take a holistic approach that integrates cognitive, emotional, and physiological well-being. I primarily work with individuals ages 13 through adulthood with experience in:

  • Life stage changes
  • Physical and emotional injury
  • Body image, strength and identity
  • Relationship with self, activities, work
  • Stress, anxiety and performance challenges

My approach to therapy

I utilize a holistic approach honoring your cognitive, emotional and physical experiences based on self-determination and humanistic theories. This foundation provides me with knowledge and experience working with improving our performance at work, on the field/court, in our relationships and in healing and growing.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will uncover concerns and set expectations for the relationship to meet what you need. We also focus on building connection and understanding past experiences, identifying what is important to you and discuss goals or desires for the upcoming work.
