Originally, and still at heart, from the Lowcountry of South Carolina, my family and I returned to Northeast Florida in 2015 once my husband retired from the military. Now, as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am able to use my experience as a military spouse, mother of 3, a bonus college student, 1 dog, and green thumbs, to engage with my clients in an understanding and empathetic manner as they create goals, repair bonds, and become the best version of themselves.
My method of therapy is primarily holistic and integrative. I have 10+ years of experience working with young adults as they enter different phases of their lives, as well as families in distress. However, my passion is to help couples and marriages to reconnect as they learn to build or strengthen their foundation.
As people, we juggle several different roles on a daily basis, so finding a balance or a moment to breathe can be challenging, but it is not impossible. Our lives are more than just the sum of our parts. I fully believe in the importance of total well-being, and focusing on self-care and healing is the 1st step to healing yourself.
