Great to meet you!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW, LCSW) and Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C) therapist specializing in working with adults ages 18 and older, particularly college students, young adults, pregnant and postpartum women, and BIPOC women. I understand that life transitions can bring both excitement and uncertainty, and that many people struggle in silence while trying to meet the expectations of others.
As a Black woman therapist and first-generation college student, I understand the unique challenges that can come with balancing personal goals, family expectations, cultural experiences, and major life transitions. These experiences inform my commitment to creating a space where BIPOC women and other clients feel seen, heard, and understood. I strive to provide a supportive, affirming, and nonjudgmental environment where you can openly explore your experiences and emotions. My approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and grounded in evidence-based practices, while recognizing that each person's story, strengths, and healing journey are unique.
