Great to meet you!

I have been practicing psychotherapy with adults (and adolescents) for over 5 years, and I am passionate about this work! I've worked with diverse client populations and treated a variety of issues. Prior to this, I worked at a residential treatment facility for many years, where I supported adolescents in learning healthy, non-destructive coping techniques. I earned my Master's at Syracuse University, and interned practicing school based mental health treatment at 2 inner city schools.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is focused on finding and preserving inner peace.

This includes restructuring limiting thinking patterns, changing destructive behaviors, coping with difficult emotions, learning healthy communication skills, setting appropriate boundaries, practicing acceptance for what can't be changed, and implementing mindfulness techniques in our daily lives, and making room for what brings us joy.

I am outgoing, optimistic, empowering, and supportive :)

What you can expect from our first session

Client's who work with me can expect to learn tangible, evidence based skills to support their specific goals.

My goal is to have sessions feel productive, healing, safe, and uplifting.
