Great to meet you!

Since I established my private practice in 2015, I have dedicated myself to supporting individuals through their experiences with grief, life transitions, career challenges, and end-of-life care. Life truly is a journey, filled with various stages and profound moments that shape who we are. As we navigate the complexities of love, grief, fear, compassion, anxiety, and depression, we are continuously evolving. I am here to walk alongside you through these changes, offering guidance and understanding during both the difficult and transformative times.

My journey has been both extensive and deeply fulfilling, marked by a genuine commitment to helping those in need. I spent five years working with child protective services, where I witnessed firsthand the importance of support and guidance for vulnerable individuals. This experience motivated me to pursue graduate studies to empower students as a school counselor.

For over 20 years, I have dedicated myself to working as a Professional School Counselor, primarily with middle and high school students. This role has deepened my understanding of the unique challenges they face during such formative years, and I strive to offer them the compassion and support they deserve.

In addition to my counseling work, my five years in higher education helped me broaden my perspective on student needs. This led me to a crucial role in Integrative Health Care, where I spent three years establishing a school-based health center. This center is a vital resource for our community, offering essential medical, dental, and behavioral health services to both students and staff.

Throughout my career, I have also navigated personal challenges, becoming a caretaker for both of my parents as they faced health issues toward the end of their lives. This experience has enriched my understanding of empathy and resilience, driving my commitment to serving others with care and compassion.

My approach to therapy

I deeply believe in creating a warm and engaging environment in therapy. I encourage each of my clients to find their voice and share their truths during our sessions. My hope is that this will not only help them express their feelings more freely but also foster greater openness in their communication with others. It's a journey we take together, and I'm here to support and listen every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

Clients can look forward to a welcoming and nurturing environment where they can express themselves freely, unburdened by the fear of judgment. I embrace each individual with an open heart and open mind.
