Great to meet you!

I work with partners, couples, and marriages to improve communication, trust, commitment and general satisfaction within relationships. I work with couples who are in current and loving relationships, and do not specialize in separation or divorce. I refer couples out who are not in love with each other anymore.

I also hold therapy for individuals, around such topics as anxiety, depression, grief/loss, family relationship issues, work stress, and other things to see changes in life.

1st intake session: typically 55 minutes

2nd session and beyond for individuals: typically 45 minutes

2nd session and beyond for couples: typically 50 minutes

[This practice provides outpatient psychotherapy services only. Services do not include court-ordered or forensic evaluations, reunification therapy, custody-related services, probation-related services, or documentation for legal proceedings, disability determinations, or Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letters.]

My approach to therapy

I utilize individual therapy with collaborative dialogical, solution-focused, and narrative therapy as well as other methods. I see individuals with issues such as anxiety, depression, job stress, trauma, and relationship concerns or strain.

I utilize couples therapy with direct solution-focused aspects to focus on how to fix the problems. I have experience helping couples through trust, commitment, intimacy, connection, infidelity, and communication.

I also see families for adult-to-adult family therapy with members who are 25+ years old. For example, parent and adult child, or grandparent and adult child, or two siblings who are both over 25 years old. I do not work with individuals who do not want to be in the therapy room.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in topics for follow-up sessions.

Each session may bring some nervousness about tackling issues or concerns that might have been held onto for awhile. The therapeutic process entails that things may get a little harder emotionally before they go upward and get better for you with your continued effort.
