Great to meet you!

National Certified Counselor with the National Board of Certified Counselors, licensed in Texas and Louisiana and the owner of Young at Heart Counseling Services, PLLC .

My experience includes working with adults and adolescents who have dealt with ADHD, depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders.

My approach to therapy

I am a gender affirming therapist passionate about building therapeutic relationships with each client. My commitment as a counselor is to be authentic, relatable, honest, and empathic. While each client has unique needs, my approach is Person-centered. I typically use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; however, I have an eclectic approach overall. Since therapy is not one-size-fits-all, therapy will be an assimilation of different techniques that are catered to client needs.

What you can expect from me

As a therapist my goal is to help you uncover your true potential. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complimentary therapy approaches and techniques, we will find long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

We are collaborators before we are therapist-client.
