Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and approved Clinical Supervisor in Arizona with experience across outpatient therapy, crisis and inpatient services, correctional behavioral health, clinical leadership, and statewide behavioral health systems. I am also pursuing my Doctorate in Behavioral Health.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, depression, stress, major life transitions, and periods of just feeling stuck or disconnected. My background allows be to bring both clinical experience and a broader understanding of how life circumstances, relationships, and systems effect emotional well-being.

My approach to therapy

I believe that therapy should feel human. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and direct. I am not a therapist who sits back and nods. I'll ask questions, help you notice patterns, offer perspective, and work alongside you to identify practical ways to create meaningful change. I especially enjoy working with clients around anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-worth, boundaries, and recurring patterns that no longer feel helpful. There is room for humor, compassion, and challenge in our work, but above all, therapy is a partnership. We'll work through the hard stuff together!

What you can expect from me

The first session is really about getting to know each other and determining whether we're a good fit. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, what has been happening in your life, and what you would like to change. You do not need to arrive with everything figured out or know exactly where to begin (actually, you don't need to have anything figured out). I'll ask questions to help me understand your history, current concerns, strengths, relationships and goals. You will also have the opportunity to ask me questions. The session is a conversation - not an interrogation. My goal is that you leave our first session (and every session) feeling heard and understood.
