Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual (Spanish/English) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and registered yoga instructor, dedicated to providing you with compassionate and quality care. I will help you manage stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, relationship concerns and/or other challenges that may be impacting your well-being.

I am an empathetic and collaborative practitioner who will support your goals, help you to understand your symptoms, assist you to develop realistic goals, identify coping strategies, and increase your resilience. I offer consistent feedback and guidance, ensuring our therapeutic alliance is productive and supportive.

My approach to therapy

I strive to help you improve your overall well-being. I recognize improvement takes time and commitment. I am by your side providing psychoeducation, emotional support and clinical intervention as you learn more about your symptoms, reveal underlying thoughts/feelings and uncover maladaptive coping patterns that may be keeping you from living the life you desire.

I provide a safe and nonjudgmental space where you can evolve and learn more adaptive ways of coping with life's challenges. My approach is tailored to meet your needs by integrating a variety of modalities to help you achieve your goals. I believe therapy is a collaborative process and I welcome feedback and encourage authenticity within the therapeutic relationship.

What you can expect from me

A healthy and compatible therapeutic relationship between therapist and client promotes successful outcomes. Therefore, it is extremely important we spend our first session getting to know one another as to ensure we are a good match and that you feel comfortable moving forward with me supporting you and your treatment goals.

I provide a relaxed atmosphere where you can share as much or as little information as you desire while welcoming your questions, exploring your goals and needs and providing relevant resources and psychoeducation.

It is vital and required that I assess for any safety issues, thus you can expect me to ask a few direct and sensitive questions to ensure the safety of you and others.

By the end of our initial session we will collaborate to develop your treatment plan and an integrated wellness plan to improve your overall mood and functioning.

I look forward to supporting you as you embark on your wellness and healing journey.
