Great to meet you!

Hi there! My name is Andrea. I graduated school at Trevecca Nazarene University in 2022. I am passionate about working with clients on self-esteem, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, and life transitions through evidence based practices. I am also trained in EMDR to specifically help those with trauma.

My approach to therapy

I aim to offer a non-judgmental, safe environment for all who seek counseling. I enjoy partnering with clients in understanding their experiences, healing negative belief systems, and living empowered lives. I work with clients who are going through depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, or life transitions, whether that is going to college, living with chronic illness, or switching job fields. I try to collaborate with clients on what works best for their life while improving what they can control and coming to terms with the things they can't control.

What you can expect from me

The first session is usually very chill. I aim to get to know you, your goals of being in therapy, and how I can help in the process. I am dedicated to providing clients with a supportive environment where therapy sessions are collaborative, engaging and tailored to the individuals unique needs either through EMDR or talk therapy. I use a mix of narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered therapy, and attachment based therapy within my practice, also with humor, gentle challenges, and a whole lot of grace.
