Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Andrea. I’m a licensed mental health and substance use therapist with a Master’s in Counseling Psychology. I’m especially passionate about supporting new and expecting moms as they navigate identity shifts, overwhelming emotions, and the transition into parenthood. As a NICU mom myself, I bring both clinical expertise and lived experience into this work.

I also support individuals facing anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, addiction, and major life transitions including college and career stress. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control of your life.

I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy, while always tailoring our work to what feels most helpful for you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, supportive, and adaptable to your needs. While I’m trained in structured, evidence-based methods, I don’t believe therapy should feel rigid. I meet you where you are and focus on what feels most important in each session.

I bring warmth, honesty, and appropriate humor into our work together to help you feel comfortable and at ease. At the same time, I will gently challenge patterns that may be holding you back and help you build practical tools to create meaningful change.

I believe you are the expert in your own life. My role is to guide, support, and partner with you as you move toward the version of yourself you want to be.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a strong foundation. We’ll go over some initial questions to better understand your history, current challenges, and goals for therapy.

After that, sessions are focused on you. You can expect a supportive, non-judgmental space where you feel heard and understood, along with gentle guidance and practical strategies to help you move forward. We’ll work together to create a plan that feels realistic, personalized, and aligned with what you want to achieve.
