Great to meet you!

My greatest joy is to help others discover their best selves and overcome some of their worst times. Together and collaboratively we will walk a journey together toward practical solutions and new ways of thinking. I am honored to be a part of your journey in learning and healing.

My approach to therapy

I believe in a psychodynamic approach that takes into consideration a bit about the past and how it has affected the present for you and your outlook on the future. My approach is both behavioral and analytic and person centered. I believe the mind body and spirit are so connected and we will learn how in our therapy sessions. My approach is evidence based and research backed. I enjoy helping older teens, adults of all ages, couples and families find more joy and a better quality of life through improved self discovery, helping you create better ways of coping, living and healing from disorders of anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, conditions like ADHD and life events like divorce and interpersonal trauma. Education is empowering and a big part of my approach and practical homework in between sessions, if you desire. I love what I do and I hope it shows in my excitement to help you adapt and grow and overcome some of the most common reasons people seek therapy.

What you can expect from me

We will begin to get to know each other in the first session; the assessments are important. I will orient you to the counseling process and what it is all about, whether it is your first time or your fifth time. After a few sessions we will develop your therapy goals which will help drive our treatment modalities. My goal for you is to have a safe space where we can share your life experiences and create new ways of looking at things which have been challenging for you.
