Andrea Rodriguez

My name is Andrea. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of FL and NY. I have over 10 years of experience working with children and adults in inpatient and outpatients settings, including corrections. I was raised in NY by Caribbean parents, then moved to FL where I earned my BA in Psychology and Masters in Mental Health Counseling. My passion is helping others figure out this crazy thing called life, and learn how to live with more satisfaction. Let's figure this out together!

I specialize in cognitive behavioral techniques in treating patients. I am to help others identify faulty thought patterns that lead to negative feelings and behaviors. My goal is to help others develop the necessary tools and coping skills to help themselves improve their overall emotional and physical functioning.

My goal for each session is for my clients to walk away with a sense of clarity and understanding about themselves and how to address their needs. I aim to empower my clients to find the strength within to overcome any obstacle.
