Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with nearly 20 years of experience helping adolescents and adults navigate anxiety, burnout, self-doubt, relationship challenges, parenting stress, and major life transitions. I have worked in a wide range of settings, including crisis stabilization, community mental health, wilderness therapy, intensive family services, and private practice.

Many of the clients I work with are high-functioning, capable people who appear successful on the outside but feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure of themselves on the inside. I work especially well with people who are used to holding everything together for everyone else but are struggling to extend that same compassion and support to themselves. I also enjoy working with helping professionals, healthcare providers, therapists, and parents who spend much of their lives caring for others and often struggle to make space for themselves.

My goal is to create a space where you can be honest, challenged when needed, and supported as you build a life that feels more authentic, meaningful, and sustainable.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, practical, and compassionate. I believe therapy should provide both insight and action. Together we'll explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck while developing concrete tools to help you navigate life's challenges more effectively.

Clients often describe me as direct, warm, authentic, and easy to talk to. I use evidence-based approaches tailored to your goals and believe that meaningful change happens when self-awareness is paired with intentional action.

What you can expect from me

I strive to give clients hope, new perspectives, and practical tools to better navigate life's challenges. My goal is for you to leave feeling truly heard, understood, and a little less alone in whatever you're facing.

The first session is a chance for me to learn more about your story, what's bringing you to therapy, and what you'd like to be different in your life. We'll begin identifying goals and exploring patterns that may be keeping you stuck, while also building on the strengths that have helped you get this far.

Since therapy is just a fraction of our busy lives, I often provide resources, ideas, or "homework" between sessions to help you continue making progress and put our work into practice in everyday life.
