Introduction
Greetings! My name is Dr. Felice Mayes and I provide services as a Licensed Professional Counselor with clients that are 18+. My goal is to create a safe space where you can explore emotions, patterns of behavior, and ways of thinking that impact your quality of life.
Education
I earned my Masters in Counseling in 1999 and my PhD in International Psychology in 2016.

Approach
I use a combination of positive psychology and a humanistic approach when working with clients.
I typically work with clients who have experienced symptoms of anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders. Often times clients will come to therapy after experiencing some type of grief and loss, divorce, or major life event. Additionally, clients come in with concerns about work/life balance and/or relationship concerns. Whatever you would like to work on, I am here to partner with you!
What to Expect
Clients I work with will feel supported through empathic engagement and active listening provided. Most clients feel comfortable with my approach, as I am naturally more soft-spoken and often times this puts clients at ease, especially if it is their first time attending counseling.
