Great to meet you!

I have a Masters Degree in Counseling from Southern Methodist University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I have experience working with adults who struggle with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, bipolar, PTSD, and grief.

My approach to therapy

I primarily use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to increase skills and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to assist with allowing uncomfortable emotions. I also use Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to process negative thoughts, sensations, and symptoms creating distress.

What you can expect from me

A therapeutic relationship with each client is the most important part of the counseling process. My therapeutic approach is to collaborate with clients to increase self-awareness and recognize patterns that may have previously caused distress. I create a safe space to process your thoughts and emotions without feeling judgement.
