Great to meet you!

Life can be overwhelming, and asking for help isn’t always easy. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, stress, or major life transitions, you deserve a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. My goal is to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment where we can work together to help you heal, grow, and create meaningful change.

I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, grief, self-esteem concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, and relationship issues. I understand that every person’s story is unique, which is why I tailor treatment to meet your individual needs, strengths, and goals.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel like a partnership where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. Together, we'll explore the thoughts, emotions, and experiences that may be contributing to your current challenges while identifying realistic strategies that help you feel more balanced and confident in everyday life. You may have come to therapy because of anxiety, depression, overwhelming stress, or difficulty managing anger, only to realize those challenges are affecting your relationships, work, confidence, or daily routines. For some people, concerns like ADHD or bipolar disorder may also influence how these experiences show up. Rather than focusing on each challenge separately, we'll work together to understand how they interact so we can create meaningful, lasting progress. Depending on your needs, I may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to identify and change unhelpful thought patterns, Behavioral Activation to help you reconnect with meaningful activities, Motivational Interviewing to strengthen lasting change, Strength Based Therapy to build on your existing resilience, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills to improve emotional regulation and coping.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it's okay if you're not sure exactly where to begin. During our first few sessions, we'll take time to get to know one another, understand what's bringing you to therapy, and create goals that feel realistic and meaningful to your life. As we continue working together, you'll have a supportive space where you can ask questions, celebrate progress, work through setbacks, and develop practical tools that help you manage life's challenges with greater confidence. My hope is that you'll leave therapy with healthier coping strategies, a stronger sense of self, and the confidence to move forward knowing you don't have to face life's challenges alone. Whenever you're ready, I'd be honored to support you on your journey.
